Love On The Blu

I don’t know what LevelUp Up was smoking when he said that was the worse chicken and waffle ever but that Chicken and Waffle was SOOO GOOD.. Best chicken and waffle I’ve ever had, the chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, the batter was perfect and not overly coated in batter. Don’t get me started on that maple butter that was so good and a perfect balance on flavors.Everything I had ordered did not disappoint me at all, my sister and I looked at each other and said we were giving a Keith Lee review about this place.Definitely will be eating this place again!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. We went Sunday for brunch and had one of thee BEST times creating new memories. We were a party of 18 and they accommodated us very well. Our waitress, Kenyatta was a Star, attentive, informative and made our experience lively. They have a plethora of choices, scrumptious goodness in every bite and a comfy cozy feel you only get around family. You know someone's granny or aunt was in the kitchen cooking. You will not be disappointed and will start looking at your calendar to see when you can come again.

Went here in the morning on 11/7/24. The food was great and the mimosas were good. our waitress had the music on, that was entertaining as well. I will be back again.

I love this place..such a warm hearted establishment. The art on the walls, the sitting layout to the small bar area was all great. The staff was very friendly; greeted with a smile and waitress was very attentive. Now lets get down to the food..oh was it delicious. I rarely get french toast but man oh man was it good, soft and fluffy..just enough flavor to give life to the toast. And the bacon cooked to perfection..just the right crisp mixed in with a little fat..Omg..don't find to many breakfast restaurants with that type of bacon..I will definitely go back and tell a friend.

This place was unexpectedly wonderful. From being greeted with great customer service to our server to the bartender for those wonderful mimosas. I first googled them once it was suggested and the pics does this place no justice. The food was delicious. Omg the jerk chicken Alfredo omelette is my fave choice for now til I go back. The banana waffles and chicken were also a great choice. I will be back to conquer the menu.

Nice, aqaint, little place, love, and appreciated the paintings on the wall. The handmade chicken sausage was the bomb. I liked the cheesy hash browns and eggs and cheese (I like cheese). Perfect! The flight of french toast needs more flavor (especially on the lemon one) on each one. It was still good, though. I'm definitely going back again

I have the shrimp and grit with fried catfish that food was amazing. Them drinks I had a long island top shelf 1 strawberry and 2 strawberry lemonade let just say them was amazing also. The customer service was top tier our waiter keep it real with us with everything we asked. I will be back here.

Hidden gem in Blue Island. Very hearty portions of food and an incredible staff. First time going and tried the jerk chicken alfredo omelette. I was very impressed. From what I gathered, the place will fill up quick, which is a testament to the quality of food. I like the atmosphere...the place has a home feel about it. Parking may be an issue during peak times, but it might not be a bad idea to park a block or two away to walk off the delicious and filling meal. I'll be back to try out some other things on the menu...like that French toast.
